JeDeMi Productions is a
small-scale production company producing, and consulting on, entertainment
with a theatrical flare.
Our goals include:
· To participate in and share
with others the joy and exhilaration of live performance.
· To expand the theatre-going audience within the Decatur community.
· To create an opportunity for members
of the Decatur community to enjoy an intimate entertainment experience.
· To maintain a reputation for quality, reliability, consistency,
and creativity demonstrated through all aspect of business interaction,
promotional materials, and performances.
· To ensure the success of these opportunities by developing
professional partnerships with community businesses and organizations.
JeDeMi Productions began in 2004 as a diversion,
an experiment, an adventure for a group of friends interested in a theatre
experience outside the traditional offerings of the Decatur community.
The idea of a smaller more intimate atmosphere appealed to them and
they identified a niche in dinner theatre. They also wanted to stage
shows that were unlikely to be presented by a community theatre; comedies
and musicals that were not only funny but also little bit naughty. Quite
frankly, they're open to anything interesting.
